    Abstract:Infrared soft glass hollow -core anti -resonant fibers (HC-ARF) with low loss, excellent mode purity, and robust high -power transmission capabilities have vast potential in mid -infrared high -power laser transmission and biomedical fields. Despite this, the fabrication of these fibers still faces formidable challenges, coupled with an incomplete understanding of the transmission characteristics, thereby amplifying the value of further exploration. In this paper, we fabricate a six -cell nodeless infrared HC-ARF originating from purified sulfide glass, synthesized using a meticulous stack -and -draw method and dual -gas -path pressure control method. Notably, we experimentally validate the theoretical performance expectations of this fiber. The fiber exhibits outstanding transmission capabilities and optical transmission quality, characterized by a recorded loss of 0.56 dB/m at 4.79 mu m. This is already comparable to traditional step -index sulfide fibers, fully demonstrating its tremendous research value and application potential. Our work has successfully fabricated the lowest loss anti -resonant fiber on record in the mid -infrared field, propelling the development of sulfide HC-ARFs into a new phase and laying a solid foundation for the realization of fiber applications in laser transmission and the biomedical field.     Title:Efficient generation of broadband photon pairs in shallow-etched lithium niobate nanowaveguides

    Abstract:We design and fabricate shallow -etched periodically poled lithium niobate waveguides to realize highly efficient broadband spontaneous parametric down -conversion (SPDC) on nanophotonic chips. The shallow -etched waveguide can tolerate the non -uniformities of waveguide width induced by fabrication imperfections, enabling the generation of photon pairs with high count rate and bandwidth. We demonstrate photon -pair generation with a high brightness of 11.7 GHz/mW and bandwidth of 22 THz in a 5.7 -mm -long PPLN waveguide. The generated photon pairs exhibit a strong temporal correlation with a coincidence -to -accidental ratio of up to 16262 +/- 850. Our results confirm the feasibility of shallow etching in the fabrication of an efficient SPDC device on the platform of lithium niobate on an insulator, and benefit quantum information processing with a broadband photon source.     Abstract:Optical vortex arrays (OVAs) are important for large -capacity optical communications, optical tweezers, and optical imaging. However, there is an urgent need to generate an optical vortex emitter to construct a specific OVA with a functional structure for the accurate transport of particles. To address this issue, we propose an Archimedes spiral OVA emitter that uses an Archimedes spiral parametric equation and coordinate localization techniques to dynamically regulate the position of each optical vortex. We discuss the phenomena of the location coordinates and Archimedes spiral from unclosed to closed on the OVA emitter. Furthermore, the propose of multiple OVA emitters demonstrates a chiral structure that has the potential for optical material processing. This study lays the foundation for generating OVAs with functional structures, which will facilitate advanced applications in the complex manipulation, separation, and transport of multiple particles.     Title:Adaptive compound control of laser beam jitter in deep-space optical communication systems

    Abstract:In deep-space optical communication systems, precise pointing and aiming of the laser beam is essential to ensure the stability of the laser link. In this paper, an adaptive compound control system based on adaptive feedforward and Proportional-Integral-Differentiation (PID) feedback is proposed. The feedforward controller is stabilized using Youla-Kucera (YK) parameterization. In the YK parameterized structure, the free parameter Q(z) consists of an adaptive filter. The proposed method constitutes an adaptive feedforward control algorithm through the adaptive filter Q(z). The problem of suppressing laser jitter is transformed into a problem of minimizing a sensitivity function containing the adaptive filter. The stability of the compound control system is ensured by configuring the individual parameters of the YK parameterized feedforward controller and the PID controller, and the adaptive regulation of the controller is realized on the premise of system stability. To verify the effectiveness of the compound control system, we established an experimental platform for laser beam stabilization control. We experimentally compare the effectiveness of the proposed control method with the classical method. The experimental results show that the method proposed in this paper can effectively suppress the complex laser beam jitter consisting of narrow-band sinusoidal and broad-band continuous vibrations.

    Title:Optimization and accuracy analysis in pose measurement of the subreflectors of large antennas based on stereo structured light

    Abstract:The accuracy of the pointing error in the subreflector is of great importance to the large steerable radio telescope, so the measurement of the six degree-of-freedom (DOF) poses of the subreflector is crucial, which are measured by the detector and the laser array. The errors in the pose measurement system of the subreflector contain random measure errors and fitting iteration errors; all of them will add up to the pose measurement, which affects the accuracy of the six DOF parameters. This paper proposed the accuracy analysis method in the pose measurement of the subreflector of large antennas, which includes the error in the variable model in laser three-dimensional point space linear fitting, iterative accuracy analysis of spatial equations in Newton's downhill method, and the analysis of the adjustment theory of the Bursa model. The experimental results show that the measure time in six-DOF poses of the subreflector in a large-aperture antenna is at most 0.5 s, while the measurement accuracy error of translation is within 0.0131 mm and the error of rotation is within 0.2323 degrees, which indicates that the pose measurement method of the subreflector in large antennas based on stereo structured light is efficient and applicable enough to analyze the measurement system accuracy.

    Abstract:A series of LiYF4:Yb3+/Tb3+ upconversion micro-particles (UCMPs) with varying Mn2+ doping concentration were prepared and examined. The composition, morphology and luminescent properties of the synthesized micro-particles was analysed by XRD, SEM, EDS and other characterization methods. Notably the significant increase of UC photoluminescence UCMPs by introducing Mn2+ ions was obtained by 980 nm laser excitation and reached the highest value as the Mn2+ ions doping concentration was 5 mol%. Furthermore, the produced UCMPs used as screen-printing materials of anti-counterfeiting ink were used for anti-counterfeiting recognition labels reliably. Moreover, based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), an anti-counterfeiting image recognition system was designed. The relevant research results indicate that the accuracy of the designed anticounterfeiting image recognition system has reached 94 %, which also provides important reference significance for the application of CNN in the field of anti-counterfeiting recognition.

    Title:Rotating dual-retarders to correct polarization measurement error for division-of-amplitude polarimeter in full field of view

    Abstract:The division -of -amplitude polarimeter (DoAP) can measure the four Stokes parameters simultaneously, and has the advantages of snapshot and high spatial resolution. However, the residual polarization aberration (PA) of DoPA system can lead to the polarization measurement error, which is influenced by the field of view. In this paper, the relationship between the measurement errors of Stokes parameters and the Mueller pupil is derived, and the Mueller pupil of DoPA system is obtained by 3D polarization ray -tracing matrix. Then, a method of dualretarders rotation is proposed to correct the Mueller pupil in full field of view. The simulation demonstrates the PA correction can improve the measurement accuracy of DoPA system, and the measurement error of degree of linear polarization is reduced by 11.5 %, 38.2 % and 11.8 % at 0 degrees , 10 degrees and 15 degrees field of view, respectively. This research facilitates the precise measurement of polarization signals for polarimeters.

    Abstract:Supercapacitor is highly demanded in emerging portable electronics, however, which faces frequent charging and inevitable rapid self-discharging of huge inconvenient. Here, we present a flexible moisture-powered supercapacitor (mp-SC) that capable of spontaneously moisture-enabled self-charging and persistently voltage stabilizing. Based on the synergy effect of moisture-induced ions diffusion of inner polyelectrolyte-based moist-electric generator and charges storage ability of inner graphene electrochemical capacitor, this mp-SC demonstrates the self-charged high areal capacitance of 138.3 mF cm(-2) and similar to 96.6% voltage maintenance for 120 h. In addition, a large-scale flexible device of 72 mp-SC units connected in series achieves a self-charged 60 V voltage in air, efficiently powering various commercial electronics in practical applications. This work will provide insight into the design self-powered and ultra-long term stable supercapacitors and other energy storage devices.

    Abstract:Featuring high frame rate and large sequence depth in a single shot, compressed ultrafast photography (CUP) has emerged as an outstanding tool for observing ultrafast phenomena, especially those unrepeatable or irreversible ones. However, the lower image quality in CUP due to high data compressive ratio has always been a tough issue, hampering its further applications in capturing the transient scenes with fine structural information. To overcome this disadvantage in CUP, here we report a multimodal fusion-based compressed ultrafast photography to achieve high-fidelity ultrafast imaging, termed MF-CUP. MF-CUP simultaneously records the dynamic scenes with three different imaging models, involving CUP, transient imaging and spatiotemporal integration imaging. Attributed to the joint acquisition of the dynamic scenes from different imaging models and the multimodal fusion image reconstruction algorithm enabled by untrained neural network, MF-CUP acquires the higher fidelity in both spatial and temporal domains compared with traditional CUP. Both the simulation and experimental results demonstrate that MF-CUP can effectively enhance the accuracy and quality of reconstructed images. Given this high-fidelity imaging ability of MF-CUP, it will provide a powerful tool for the detection of ultrafast dynamics with fine details.

    Abstract:PVO-based schemes are the widely -used reversible data hiding (RDH) techniques. Benefiting from the good prediction performance, the stego-image can have a high quality. However, the complexity metric of PVO is still not good enough. The two main limitations are: the block -based context pixels are not highly correlated with the predicted pixel, and the fluctuation -based complexity calculation methods cannot comprehensively represent the real prediction result. Unlike the existing complexity metrics, we consider this problem from a novel viewpoint of neighborhood pixel prediction (NPP), i.e., using the prediction pixel to predict the unmodified neighborhood pixels of a predicted pixel. The neighborhood pixels are more reliable than the context pixels and the generated neighborhood prediction -errors (NPEs) are utilized to represent the real prediction -error (RPE). Two new features are extracted from NPEs as Dual -complexities to determine the embedding order. Experimental results indicate the quality of the stego-image can be improved significantly by using our proposed Dual -complexities in the related PVO-based schemes, and it can be directly extended to other schemes in PVO framework as well.

    Title:Structural insight of fluorophosphate glasses through F/O ratio: Case study of Raman and NMR spectra

    Abstract:Fluorophosphate glass has excellent characteristics such as low nonlinear refractive index, anomalous partial dispersion, low phonon energy, high UV transparency and high rare earth doping concentration, etc. The two anion ions of fluorine (F) and oxygen (O) and their F/O ratio in fluorophosphate glasses provide important structural characteristics of the specific glass. To explore this, a series of fluorophosphate glass samples with theoretical F/O ratios ranging from 1 to 7 were prepared, Raman spectroscopy and 31P nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy were mainly employed to elucidate the structural polyhedrons made of the network chain. The underlying correlation between the Qn units and F/O ratio was explored, i.e., the Q2 unit dominate when the F/O ratio is less than 0.3, and predominantly Q2 or Q1 unit is predominant as F/O ratio ranges from 0.3 to 1, it comes to be Q1 or Q0 unit as F/O ratio further increase to 4, while it becomes Q0 when the F/O ratio is greater than 4. The applicability of this interval estimation was verified by comprehensive analyzing a variety of structural results of fluorophosphate glasses with various glass compositions. The explored interrelation between the F/O ratio and structural property is of great significance for developing low nonlinear and UV transparent fluorophosphate glasses.

    Abstract:The successful detection of key components within satellites is a crucial prerequisite for executing on-orbit capture missions. Due to the inherent data-driven functionality, deep learning-based component detection algorithms rely heavily on the scale and quality of the dataset for their accuracy and robustness. Nevertheless, existing satellite image datasets exhibit several deficiencies, such as the lack of satellite motion states, extreme illuminations, or occlusion of critical components, which severely hinder the performance of detection algorithms. In this work, we bridge the gap via the release of a novel dataset tailored for the detection of key components of satellites. Unlike the conventional datasets composed of synthetic images, the proposed Typical Components of Satellites (TYCOS) dataset comprises authentic photos captured in a simulated space environment. It encompasses three types of satellite, three types of key components, three types of illumination, and three types of motion state. Meanwhile, scenarios with occlusion in front of the satellite are also taken into consideration. On the basis of TYCOS, several state-of-the-art detection methods are employed in rigorous experiments followed by a comprehensive analysis, which further enhances the development of space scene perception and satellite safety.
